I have monkeyed around with running my Boss CE- 3 through the amp and comparing it to the native system and I have to say that, the variability and range I can get from the pedal aside, the quality of the built in chorus is comparable if not better. For adding some shimmer and depth to the clean channel it is really pretty solid. In addition to the Vypyr I also have an older Zoom Fire. Marshall MG3. 0 and a Marshall MG1. Marshall 4. X1. 2 cabinet (with an array of pedals) that I use to varying degrees.
